Morning coffee

It's lovely to be able to enjoy a coffee in the garden in the sunshine before it gets too hot. We have no shade in the garden and as the day goes on I have to find respite under a large umbrella attached to my folding chair! 
I wasn't at home for the hottest part of the day as it was the restart of our matting group today. I made cakes, very much appreciated, and took a leisurely stroll to the next village listening to my audiobook on the way. We had a super time catching up on all the news, sorting out the stock cupboard and continuing on the projects we started before lockdown. See extra for one completed before lockdown. We have two others on the go , another small one and a large one. We have plenty of supplies and lots of ideas going forward. Lots to keep us occupied as the long winter days approach. I'll try to remember to photograph the others next week.
All in all it was a very convivial and happy day.
