Day 19 "NN" - Famous visitor

We were up after 9 am the sun was shining and we decided to go for a swim first thing. The tide was in and it was easy to walk in the pretty cold water. It was so refreshing!!! 
Back up at the house we dried up in the sun and just enjoyed being. 
Callam phoned around 11 and arrived a couple of hours later and with him all the knowledge about the batteries, the generator and other quirks of Aird an Iasgaich! 
It was good to see Calum. It had been years!! 

Later in the afternoon we got another guest or actually two! 
David Campbell and his girlfriend Catriona came to the house. 
I had not seen them either for years! 
David is an eccentric writer and story teller and very interesting. He lives in Edinburgh Newtown and I remember his parties well!! 
We sat in front of the house and whisky was poured and stories were told. 
I loved to see David and Catriona. 
It was in Glenuig when I met them the first time, about 17 years ago … on New Years day - omg!! 
I had not even been living in Scotland yet! 
When they were gone we started fire in the garden fire pit and had dinner with Calum. 
We had packed some steaks and sous vided stuff. 
Since we have no really functioning fridge here it was time to consume it. 
We were sitting up with Calum and more whisky in the house the. He retired into the hut. And we fell into our bed.

What a great day that was!!
