The Annual Lorn Ploughing Match.....

took place today, despite the extremely cold weather conditions, the ground was snow free and ploughable - a miracle!

There should have been 36 entries but only 20 could reach the farm to take part because of the hazardous weather further afield. It was fantastic that 20 managed to attend to allow it to go ahead.

We didn't stay to the end, had to give up when I lost the feeling in my hands and could no longer use my camera! I am not joking either , it was bitter, but I was so glad we went along to support our farmers.
