Cosmos

We made the most of the Indian Summer by enjoying a lazy breakfast in the garden, followed by the less enjoyable task of sanding down the wooden front porch, with the intention of giving it a pre-winter coat of paint sometime soon.

This afternoon I made a rare excursion to Clark’s Village (all of 400 yards) to buy myself a new pair of winter trainers then this evening saw the start of a new year of Keep Fat. A mixture of late holidays and the heat meant that only 8of us made it but it was good to be back.

The cosmos in the back garden are enjoying the late summer heat too.
