Monday: The Old Cannery

It was Labour Day today so a public holiday.  It typically marks the beginning of the end of summer but that didn’t stop the weather from being glorious.  I’m amazed that we are in September already.

We’ve had a good few days on Pender Island but time to head home this afternoon.  Kari and Pauline dropped us off at the ferry after we’d gone for a walk to the old cannery this morning.

We caught the ferry to Mayne Island where we transferred to the Tsawassen ferry.  Now back home with Barney.
