The Angel of The North

Our Weekend away has finished so as we headed home  we had to visit the landmark you can see as you travel up and down the motorway . We stopped off to do the tourist thing and visit and take a few shots of the Angel of the North . An amazing structure and well worth checking out. The light was not the best rather grey but as we left the sun tried to come back out to give a bit better light for the shot.
A good journey home with a stop for some lunch and pleased to say the sunny weather looks to have come back for the rest of my week off . The joys of coming back 2 loads of washing done 1 nearly dry the 2nd going out on the line tonight to start drying in the morning .
