Taking the Knee

Day 2 of the Magic weekend in Newcastle and it was good to see the sun was out and was a warm day. I took a few shots with my main camera but only took my small lens as I didn't know if i would get checked with a bigger camera bag like I did when we went to the grand final a couple of years ago . I would have been ok they didn't bother at all I even saw people carrying Tesco bags with beer in.
This shot shows the Wigan players taking the knee against Racism along with the Warrington players in the back ground just before kick off
Sadly the game plan went out the window in the 1st couple of minutes with a bad bounce and Warrington  gaining the ball to score a try. We was never able to come back and got beat 10 - 6 . Still an enjoyable day out with plenty of rugby. I have included 1 extra which is an action shot of a Hull KR scoring a try while a Leigh player watches on unable to stop him 
After the rugby back to the pub we had been to all weekend as it was a lovely pub with great food and drink and a comfy atmosphere The Crows Nest 15 minute walk to the ground and about 20 minute walk back to the hotel.
