A “New” Project

While sorting through some of my crafts bits and pieces I found some railway N gauge metal castings of canal lock gates and narrow boats. I think I bought them over 20 or 30 years ago (or more), possibly from a model railway exhibition and show and had intended to make a small diorama with them. I must admit I’d forgotten I had them!

Today I primed the castings and started to make a plan for the lock, using one of my 1:144th scale houses as a lockside cottage. Since UK  N gauge is 1:148 scale the small difference in scale should not be noticeable. Now to find make the time for the modelling!
