Fever Daisies
A windy day, with some fine sunny spells, and then a heavy shower this evening.
Up early, and ready to start day one of isolation. I've kept myself busy all day, done a deep clean in the sitting room, tidied the greenhouse, washed down the kitchen and then rest. Peerie Brian has taken Sammy out walkies, and friend Julie popped by with some chocolate biscuits. I got a phone call from NHS Shetland, and my PCR test is tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's negative, my LFT was negative again today. Better news of sorts from the family, so far yesterday was the worst, signs of improvement since. Others in the household tested negative.
Thank goodness for a garden while locked away from society! I was out quite a bit today, no need to push myself too hard cleaning, breaks were needed. One plant that has taken over my garden, is this fever daisy (tanacetum parthenium). An old remedy to help soothe a fever, so it could come in handy if I were to start. I'll maybe need to look up the remedy, sometimes the old methods worked. Taken in Hawthorn Cottage garden, Houl Road, Scalloway.
