Flying Geese

Year 2 Day 166 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 270 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

Early afternoon, with the sun out and temperature at 26C, we canoed from Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) to Kerne Bridge (Goodrich) in our village; a few miles and leisurely 2.5 hrs downstream along the River Wye.

It was extremely busy on the river yesterday but today was nice and quiet - I presume the summer holidays are over and the tourist have largely returned home! The highlight was seeing geese and swans flying past us, the geese I managed to catch alongside as the went by.

Early this evening my brother called in to collect his crate of wine I bought yesterday - it being cheaper in England than Wales! Good to have a catch up too.
