Chemotherapy Day, Cycle 3, Day 1

Today must have been my lucky day - I got a window seat, got hooked up in record time and my blood pressure was back to normal - it’s been high since this journey began.

I think I may buy a lottery ticket!

In the end I didn’t buy a lottery ticket because it’s a tax on the poor and I didn’t want to push my luck. Truly, it was an easy day, made so much easier by the amazing nurses who keep us all in good spirits and answer my many questions.

Can we say enough about how good the NHS is? No, I don’t think there are words enough.
