2021 Friday — Forever Friends

Mr. Fun & I enjoyed this Friday morning at the Sea Shanty Restaurant having breakfast with a long time friend, Randy.

Randy has been retired one year after 30 years teaching public junior high school students. Randy’s wife, Stephanie, was a good good friend. She died almost 8 years ago from brain cancer. They didn’t know she had cancer till two weeks before she died and the symptom had been a migraine headache.

This morning our conversation was filled with lots of memories and thoughts of so many people that we all used to hangout with. Then Randy said his goodbyes and headed north up the Big Sur Coast.

Tomorrow he plans to arrive at Jim & Joy’s House in Salem, Oregon. After his stay with them, he will be heading to his youngest daughter’s home in Idaho. Randy hopes to purchase a home there.
