Winter wonderland

First thing this morning it looked like this and it was snowing again - better now though and the howling easterly wind has subsided somewhat. We attempted to go out for dinner last night to join T's eldest son and girlfriend (new - she sounds very nice on the phone!!) but half way there T decided to turn back as it was turning into blizzard conditions - and we were very glad we did looking at this lot this morning.

The wintry view is a bit of our back garden, and three gardens beyond belonging to neighbours.

We are up to our eyes decorating the bedroom this weekend so no time to chat really - and T has just bumped his poor bald, neat No. 1 cut by me, head on the corner of a cupboard and is dripping blood, so better go and administer; just TLC and a plaster, hopefully, not A&E for stitches. (Oh dear, and I was hoping for a shade of white for the walls, not pink/red ones)!
