Stromness Waterfront
A beautiful day in Orkney. My top tip, when venturing into the Isles is to put a card in your camera. So, arriving in Hoy, filmless, l was designated to creosote the shed at the back of the kirk. CMC and her s-I-l had a red up in the shed. Jimmy came through fae Rackwick. He sat and watched me creosote the shed. The conversation was about whisky. Jimmy made the thinnest roll up I've ever seen. He said the trick is to put no tobacco inside.
I think my pedometer isn't working. It failed to count the early morning 4,500 steps when CMC was chasing me round the bedroom.
It's Friday night - time for a pint in the Swollen Guillemot.
