The Observer's Book of Ferries

My exciting day oot;  Abandoned by CMC I walked up to the village to catch the Kirkwall bus.  I went to the bank to try and sort the ongoing SSE won’t pay / won’t pay epic with my mother’s account.  I met Cheerie Jimmy, still doing his window cleaning round.  Had a long chat with Isobel fae Flotta and caught up on news of Peter, Alan, Marina.  Flotta is holding a Harvest Home in October!!  Went in past Martin, in his shop, and he shared some very good Chic Murray anecdotes.  Mr McNair gave me an update on the Orphir manse.


I’m easily entertained.
