Inkstone

I found this inkstone at a very small antique store this week. It seemed off among the other things displayed. Like it was out of place. Nothing in the entire store was Asian or for writing.

The owner of the store had sold her house in Texas and moved to her summer home permanently. She was selling all the things she felt she could part with. This happen to be among them.

I'm sure it is a reproduction piece but it was so unique I felt I had to buy it.
