A ‘Freedom’ rose

This is one of the roses in a long bed in the entrance to the Lensbury which have flowered really well this year. Everything seems to be back to normal in the gym, pool and restaurants etc. No taking of temperature on arrival, no masks needed and fulll classes again. No booking for the swimming pool any more either.
Many of the staff were furloughed for quite a long time, including the gardener I spoke to today who said last year he could not look after the roses properly as he was not there until about July. This year he has been diligent and today was dead heading.
He said this variety is called ‘Freedom’ . I think the weather this year has suited them.
