Tiny Tuesday . . . In a Forest

I think the ferns in my garden are a mini forest.  This fern is growing under a Lancewood tree and in the summer the Cicadas crawl up the straight trunks and sing as they would in a forest.  I can see this mini forest from the deck by the front door.  All very handy.   Thank you HOtamer for hosting this month.  Another disclosure I didn't use a macro lens and went for getting very close.
