A Wonder

Thrilled to see a swallowtail on my walk past the castle to collect my bag I'd left at Ana's last night; she agreed that there have been a lot less butterflies this year, which seems odd, as there has been less pollution (not that there's much here at the best of times). In extra, a head on view, which makes me wonder again whether I should invest in a macro...

Both of us have spent a lot of the day doing admin, yawwwwn. And washing and cleaning, which I quite enjoy.

Gratefuls:
- really enjoying a book, The Girl You Left Behind, by Jojo Moyes, which I picked up free somewhere or other, though I stayed up way too late to finish it
- coolest day yet, the high was 31C (89F), though quite muggy
- Deb and the kids being up in Manchester with Ju and Tom
