Snowy Morning

When I woke up this morning, the light was all bright in my bedroom, so I knew that it had been snowing through the night/early morning. I bounced out of bed and pulled the curtains open, smiling to myself. Kanye was sitting enraptured, watching the snow as it drifted slowly to the ground, much the same as he is doing now to the flakes that have just started to fall. Granted, what snow there was earlier didn't stick around for long, but the short walk to the train, along the footprint-free pavements, made me feel like an explorer discovering a new land. I took this photo when I got into work, with my camera sticking out a window that doesn't open fully and I was unsure whether or not to go with the shot. It's a little blurry, but all the other photos I took today were of me and I look like I'd benefit from a Sleeping Beauty style nap in them all! Maybe I should have dressed as her today instead of Little Red Riding Hood...
