Monsal Head & Buxton

We left Little Miss with Milly (who is exhausted with her recent walkies!) at our cottage and took a pretty drive to Monsal Head.

Once there we climbed down to the Headstone Viaduct to walk along some of the Monsal Trail and through the Headstone Tunnel :)

Having learnt our lesson yesterday we had packed a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful view whilst we ate ;-)

Later we had a lovely walk around the spa town of Buxton where we enjoyed the Pavilion Gardens and a coffee & cake.

Home to sit on the sunny patio before dinner out at the local pub :-)
