Glad Timings

The request from the Happy Couple was for us to provide flowers for the wedding from our garden, nothing overly formal, and with a particular request for daffodils in baked bean cans for the tables, that guests could take home with them.

Daffodils made perfect sense for the March 2020 date.  And the March 2021 date.  August 2021 represents more of a challenge...

Anyway, for some 'headline' flowers for the arrangements E planted some gladioli - reading carefully how many weeks it was supposed to take from planting to flowering.

A week or so ago E was giving the then non-flowering stems a Hard Stare.  Seems to have done the job.
