Distractions

Today was the York City urban orienteering based on Rowntrees Park. We were helping on the start so left home earlier than normal. We then had late runs. 

I went to school nearby and bought my first house near the park. You would think this would give me an advantage however 40 years on the Millennium bridge and a number of changes to the park have taken place.

Managed to stub my toe and took a heavy fall coming out of control 3 along with mistake at 7 dropped me down the results for today.

Good to meet E Wendy’s (Wendles56) grandson who was fascinated by the download machine and keen to let us know how it worked.

I past this Yarn bombing on the way to a control. Completed to celebrate the parks 100th birthday. Just had to go back and photograph the birds and bees. More information in the extra.
