Juvenile

The bird feeders are crowded with bird at the moment. This young house sparrow was waiting it's turn. It still has the remains of that fleshy yellow part to the beak which attracted its parents to its gaping mouth in the nest.

Not a lot to say about the day: the usual Saturday lodge cleaning then I began the painting of the cabin with preservative. Very messy job. The stuff is so runny and sticky!
