Let the party begin.

As I write this, all 5 Grands are asleep at last. Taken up in relays - what a mission!

 Jodie's party is fancy dress, the theme being 'something beginning with J'. Here is L to R Son in Law Seb as American DJ Jazzy Jeff. This is the first time I've heard of him, showing my age! 

Then Hayley dressed as her Dad Jeff. A Chelsea supporter, who likes to wear  floral lightweight shorts, is partial to white sports socks, and loves his slippers. When the girls were in their teens, and we were the taxi service, he would tell them to be outside the venue at the designated time or he would come in and collect them wearing his slippers - Never once were they not there on time! Hayley and Seb got ready here and I can honestly say I wouldn't have recognised them if I walked into a room and they were there.

The birthday girl herself dressed as something from Jurassic Park, and her husband Dean as Jake the Snake, an American professional wrestler, another one I've not heard of.

I hope they all have fun, and I hope to get a moderately good night's sleep and the babies don't wake up too early! The age range of these 5 children is from 15 months to 6 years.
