Arresting Development

Went with Elaine to Settle , three bus changes each way but it went like clockwork.
The flowerpot festival was on so it’s another collage in extras.
Was tempted by some lovely places to eat but we didn’t feel hungry enough to try them out.
Had red wine and a cheeseboard at the French bistro in Skipton on the way home, intending to have a coffee at the next change of bus.
But as we hopped off one bus, the bus to my village was just about to depart so it was a no brainier and we are now having coffee here in my garden on this beautiful summer’s day.
