Into the Forest

It's been a lovely day today and instead of going to the gym, I headed into the forest for an early morning walk with Louis and my friend Chris. It was very cold but we did our usual 8 kms circuit and after a while we soon warmed up.

The forest paths are very well planned with specific bridal paths for horses, and we saw this lady riding her beautiful grey horse. She looked like Lady Godiva apart from the fact that she had clothes on - hardly surprising though! I was poised with my camera to get a good shot, but her dog spotted Louis and came bounding over. Louis wanted to play, but as he was on his lead he kept pulling so I couldn't take my photo, and when I did she was heading off into the forest, but of all my shots, I particularly like this one, even though it is slightly blurred.

In other news, I've had a lovely lunch with the girls as it's Marie's birthday today and Louis' happy as I've brought a marrow bone home for him! Tonight we're having a night chilling at home as we're both tired, and I'm in work tomorrow. Hope you have a good one!
