Here's Sam, celebrating with the Newmachar school team that today won the first round of the regional rotary quiz. Sam was the reserve player, (known round here as a Gothenberg supersub) went through all the learning and practice sessions and was chief question master for the team in training sessions, so I was really pleased he wasn't left out and was also awarded a trophy. Bless his little blue and black cotton ski socks.
