Ullswater

A delightful day spent above, on and in Ullswater.

A hike up to Gowbarrow Fell to view Ullswater from above, on a path that took us up and around Aira Force. All just lovely.

Then on Ullswater in the Kayak, surprisingly choppy water and the thrill of fighter jets streaming through the valley.

Then into Ullswater for a delightfully cooling swim after sweating it out, reading on shore.

I’d honestly thought autumn had arrived so this brief dip back into summer has been totally and utterly wonderful.
