Hayfield in the High Peak

We sat in more traffic and we diverted off the M1 onto the A5 to avoid a major delay :(

We finally arrived in Bakewell in time for a delicious pub burger and of course it would have been rude not to buy some Bakewell tart ;-D

Driving through the lovely Peak District for miles looking at the beautiful scenery bought us to our accommodation for the next few nights.
This particular scene can be seen from our lovely cottage - what a view!!
