Venturing out

I had to wake early this morning to run the hoover through. Malliah came and left the place looking great.

Today is Day 11 since G's friend was in our flat. Neither of us has had any symptoms, so we booked appointments to have our hair done. And then we went next door to the Capri to finally try their business lunch. A starter, drink and main course for £8 with a nice view thrown in (at least from where I was sitting). G was looking into the restaurant (which is also pleasant). We listened to well-known songs sung in Italian while we dined. It fitted in perfectly in an Italian eatery.

Not being ready to get back home, we had a little drive out to give the car a run and just be "out". Quiet for the rest of the day. We caught the movie "Ferdinand" on one of the free channels. An excellent bit of storytelling with a positive message!
