Occombe Farm

There was some good news this week for us pensioned off professional layabouts - a farm shop closed for a few years has reopened having been completely refurbished and rethought. Life is complete. There is a first class cafe, already a favourite of ours, and very shortly a farm based activities centre will open. Perfect for children. It is just a half hour walk through the woods or 5 minutes by car. Our mission this morning was to give it the seal of approval. We were impressed. They sell luxuries and necessities fit for a king or queen, many of them produced in Devon. We then sat in the sun having coffee, rounding off this wild adventurous hedonistic outing with a trip to the nearby garden centre. A top class Tuesday day out for the lucky retired.
