Keep Your Distance

Today we were on the water on a little boat trip organised by the Torbay Civic Society. Our chartered boat, Liberty Lass, set off from Paignton and toured the whole bay. John Risdon, a local historian, gave a marvellous commentary about the bay and its history. Sailing  across the bay from Brixham to Torquay we passed close to the cruise liners which have been anchored  here for months. In the main picture is the Arcadia, showing signs of wear. In the extras are the Marella Discovery, leaving soon for Gibraltar, and the pointed end of the Arcadia.
