Osprey

Not the shot I intended today, but a format malfunction on the memory card forced me into maybe something better. This osprey has nested at this spot the last few years, off of the Bellevue Highway, I don't know exactly how long. I've watched the nest for awhile for activity, but didn't see any until last night. This female, or male, not sure, flew out and about gathering new structure for its nest. Pretty regal birds. I'll probably post a few of these cool birds over the course of the next few weeks.
