Mullein

The prettiest plant on the field margin this morning was a Mullein.  Thank goodness the sun has finally come out this afternoon.

Yesterday evening the sun popped out just before sunset at the same moment that the skies opened.  The golden rays in the pouring rain made a magical light that lasted about 5 minutes (extra).  Then the sun set, it stopped raining, and there was no chance of seeing the full moon.
