Three course meal and drinks for 25 quid?

Don't mind if I do!

For arranging our Christmas lunch, I got a voucher for a table for two at the restaurant, with food and drink up to the value of £60. I gave it to a colleague who I thought would appreciate a night out with her other half. Instead she chose to invite me - cue short moment of guilt before I said "Woo hoo, count me in!".

We've had a lovely night (well, I have anyway), gossiping about work and our personal lives. Just a shame we're both in work tomorrow...

Rather than the hassle and cost of public transport, I've elected to stay in an Ibis hotel for the night - it's only about £20 more expensive and means a lie in tomorrow. And a G&T, a bottle of wine and a lovely lemony limoncello concoction tonight lol.
