Day 3 To Melrose

We headed back up the B709 again. It is so beautiful why not. Here is Mr PB negotiating some sheep. We climbed out of Stow. Wow it was an epic climb, and it did show up as 16% at one point but hovered on the 12% most of the way. I am chuffed to say I rode all the way. Again, more stunning scenery, with lots of ups and downs. We stopped in Melrose (extra) where we had lunch and a then ambled home.

I had a bit of a problem with my back wheel which Mr PB cannot fix (hasn’t got all the right tools with him), so hopefully one of the plethora of bike shops here will be able to help in the morning.

After dinner, we had a wonder round the village  and climbed up up the hill to St Ronans Well. Now drinking wine in the garden
