Breitplanggen valley

The high point on today’s walk (2469m) from the Oberalp Pass. The forecast was for rain but it didn’t arrive until 6pm and at times we had sun. We walked up and took the cable car back down again. The extras show Oberalpsee and the tracking device that quite a few of the sheep were wearing towards our high point. There were no fences up here so I suppose this is the way the farmer knows where they are.

We then continued our journey to Chur and part way up the Albula Pass. Staying tonight in the lovely village of Bergun (see extra) next to the train station, ready for an early bike ride tomorrow morning. We are attempting to do the National Route 6.
