the return of the Prodigal ....

Dan has now reached the end of his 10-day quarantine period after flying in from India and all his tests are negative.  So he is coming for supper tonight.  It's been a year since Anniemay last hugged her baby boy and by way of celebration, I am preparing the fatted sweet potato chilli.  

Besides the above, it includes the usual suspects - kidney beans, black-eyed beans, guacamole, soured cream, tortillas, nachos .. and so on.  It's long been one of Dan's favourite dishes.  

I now discover that after some 10 years of living abroad - mainly India - he has recently decided that he will no longer consider himself a vegetarian (or an anything-arian).  His current favourite meal is roast chicken with Yorkshire Pudding and roast potatoes.  With gravy.  Apparently they have Yorkshire Puddings in Goa.
