In The Pink….

Maisie and I were out at 6.00am….. in the dark…. Walking the Taylor River Tracks on a fine, clear frosty morning. Dawn is now just after 7.00am. The dawn colour tones at the river were delicate shades of pink. We saw only one other person. Amazing. It shows that people are sticking to the Lockdown rules. We are in
day four of Level Four Lockdown…. Initially Auckland and Coromandel started out last Wednesday under Lockdown for seven days. That was because our current outbreak of Covid-19 originated in those two centers. The rest of the country were to be in Lockdown for three days. However the virus has now spread to Wellington. So yesterday the Government decreed that the whole country stays at Level Four until next Tuesday at 11.59pm. Fingers crossed it will not be further extended.
