A good day with the two old settees gone and the ‘new’ one in place, all thanks to a lovely friend who helped with the manoeuvres. When I say ‘new’ we bought it from the local Buy and Sell page on fb, a year old, good price and looks OK in the room.

Occasionally I would look on line for some sort of settee to suit us with no idea about size, style, colour or how much we were prepared to pay, basically an extremely poor use of time, to say nothing of boring. This settee popped up on fb yesterday and surprisingly I was the first to comment, think 12 others showed an interest as the day moved on, initially John wasn’t sure but happy with it now. Mackie has moved and is asleep beside me, he is happy with plenty of room to show off his beautifulness, or am I biased?

The day stayed dry for us both to cut the grass, John on the ride on and me on the strimmer.
