Not the cinema

The morning shot past and it was time to relieve the childminder up the road. So I trotted over with my charge to Victoria Park where I was joined by the SK awhile until the local brats spilled out of school.
On to Starbank Park. What advantages kids in middle class areas have. Lovely wee play areas, even a bookcase to help yourself to. Nothing trashed.
Straight up town to the Filmhouse as the SK had tickets for the premier of Prince of Muck. What a terrific little film - I do hope it does well; the Isle of Muck could almost be incidental as there’s such a great focus on ageing and relationships pared down to essentials; no clutter. Wonderful!
