paddle steamer waverley postmarks

its always been a tradition since the 1880s that each steamer had its own postmark for mail posted in the postbox beside the on board post office...I continue this by posting cards on each voyage and a few days later a nice surprise pops through the letterbox of the recipient....as seen in the extras the postmark has varied over the years from the pre- heritage Waverley's Caledonian Steam Packet oval in the 1960s through different shapes and colours to exotic anniversary ones and on to the recent rather bland black or red circle...this year's black circle at least has the wee two funnels logo as seen in the extra...good that the tradition continues and my collection can grow
