Move-in Day

...at UVA. What a day! Hot and sticky and chaotic. I. is settled into her dorm room and of course has more settling to do over the next weeks and months. It's a tad overwhelming for my introverted girl. Much to be excited about and maybe some things that aren't so easy. 

Very, very grateful for a clear, cancer-free scan for my mom. 
Very grateful I. gets to go to college in the first place, as she wanted.
Glad to be home after rather miserable driving! It poured rain, which cleared the air, and eventually the sky was a washed-out violet over the hills toward home.
