River Itchen at Shawford

Today we have  been mostly trying out folding e-bikes. We went to Shawford to try one bike. Shawford village is idyllically situated on the river Itchen, a few miles downstream of Winchester, and a few miles upstream of  Southampton. I think we have nearly made our decision on which is our preferred bike. I will of course blip the bikes when we get them,  but in the  meantime, here  is a view of the  river! 

One of  Shawford's claims to fame is it is where  Victor Meldrew of 'One Foot in the Grave' met his end.
