more potholes than tar....

this is what we call the road to lundazi from Chipata in Eastern Zambia.  You have to drive most of the journey on the side of the road because of the enormous potholes all over!  A motorbike is definitely the best mode of transport!  A road that is only 180kms took us almost four and a half hours!  We left Lusaka at 5am and arrived in Lundazi at 6.30pm....quite exhausted!!  Never mind...at least we are here safely.

Had a meeting when we arrived, went to our guesthouse and went to sleep!
