Autumn Colours - In Summer

I did get out for a ‘boots on’ walk today  - whilst Mrs was engaged on a very important project - a hairdresser appointment.

I liked this decaying rosebay willowherb - the gorgeous red and orange colours really standing out against the paler green of the hedgerow behind. I tried to ‘anchor’ the stalk to the bottom right corner and have the stem diagonally across the frame. In hindsight I wish I had zoomed out a bit so that I could crop to 5x4 or even 1x1 - I think the 3x2 upright format doesn’t work so well on Blip. Ho-hum too late now.

Other than a bit of cleaning and washing - not a lot else to report!
