Britannia Bridge

Today was my Mum’s 80th birthday and despite the grey and drizzly weather, we had a lovely day. We started with a mooch around Beaumaris, lunch at The Pier Cafe and in the early afternoon we had a ride on a rib boat along the Menai Straits. Some nice commentary and then lots of speeding, turns and doughnuts - we had great fun! 
Dad didn’t come with us but pottered around the pier and we all met up for Red Boat ice cream afterwards.     
We had a delicious evening meal at the on-site bistro, Harry’s, followed by another night of raucous laughter, taking the mickey out of my eldest niece whilst playing board games :) 
A most entertaining day enjoyed by all.
