A rather indulgent treat!

Wednesday 18th August

We were able to meet up with our friends again, which was a real bonus. We visited Edmondthorpe church, in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, and had a walk in the village. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the area and the legend of the witch. We all went for lunch at Wymondham Windmill tea rooms before saying our final goodbye for this week. It's been so great to meet up.

Mum and I then enjoyed a countryside drive, visiting the canal at Hickling, and popped in to Sarfield's Chocolatiers. We just had to sample the tasting platter of chocolates, alongside a delicious white hot chocolate drink!
