Lock...
……………...………..Down
At 11.59pm last night, Tuesday 17th, New Zealand went into Alert Level 4 lockdown - Auckland and Coromandel for seven days and the remainder of the country for three days, at least.
Yesterday afternoon a 58 year old man from Auckland tested positive for Covid.
This morning four people received positive test results. By 1pm another two positive cases were confirmed and this evening there are a further three positive cases.
Of these 10 positives cases, most of them are in their twenties, and all with the Delta variant.
Alert Level 4 is the highest alert level. It means people must stay home unless taking essential travel to the supermarket, pharmacy, medical care, being tested for Covid or exercising / walking within our own neighbourhood.
I am thrilled with your response to my previous blip. The photography / lens balls have proved a popular blip and I thank you all very much for the many comments, stars and hearts.
